Over
the past 45 years, Trickey's has been getting to know and helping
hundreds of people with their automotive needs. Trickey's
Service Inc. began serving the Riverbend area in 1960. In 1966 it
continued its growth in service capabilities when Bill and Janet Pullen
joined owners Paul and Joyce Trickey. The Pullen's purchased Trickey's 1980 when
Paul Trickey retired. Today the business is run
by Steve Kainz, the Pullen's son-in-law.
Steve has been in the towing business since he was 17 years old, getting
his start as a driver in Chicago, Illinois. Steve
moved to Wood River after marrying his wife, Jean. In 1997, Steve
took over the family business, a move that came natural to him as he had
been working at Trickey's since 1989. Steve took the
knowledge from his early years as a driver in Chicago, combined it
with the community based business that his father-in-law had begun and continues
Trickey's excellent tradition in transportation services today.
In order to continue serving the community with excellent
service, we continually seek the latest training and
certification in towing and recovery techniques. We are a member of the Professional Towing and Recovery
Operators of Illinois (P.T.R.O.I.)
and are certified to tow in both Illinois and Missouri. Trickey's
is a union shop providing auto maintenance and repair, air conditioning
recharging and repair, tires and batteries.
Trickey's has a superb staff, dedicated to helping the public.
Trickey's has and will continue to help improve the community, not only
through providing top-notch transportation services, but also through
making the Riverbend Area a better place to live and work. |
